Train derails in Russia

The accident occurred in Kirov, about 900 miles from Moscow.

Some tankers torched cars after the derailment. The flames also were not controlled.

So far there's no record of fatalities.

As a precautionary measure, the area of the accident was evacuated.

The Governor of Kirov ruled out, however, any kind of risk to public health related to the accident.

Hundreds of people backed by dozens of vehicles are involved in fighting the flames.

The causes of the accident which occurred around 05:00, local time, are yet unknown.
