Brussels and Washington extend list of dignitaries Russians whose assets will be frozen

A measure in line with the announced by Barack Obama. The list of Washington includes 31 individuals, including the Chief of staff of Vladimir Putin; the list of Brussels has 33 names, which will be announced this Friday.

The Russia responds toe to toe. Moscow, for its part, announced a list of sanctions to Obama advisers and u.s. congressmen.

The Finnish Prime Minister, Jyrki Katainen, argues that "Russia should sit at the table of negotiations with Ukraine and with the international community, because it's the only way out of this situation". Argues that "to avoid things complicate in the eastern part of Ukraine, the OSCE should send a monitoring mission and, if that is not possible, must be the European Union to do so".

In addition to freezing the assets of senior Russian dignitaries, heads of State and Government decided to annul the next EU-Russia Summit, scheduled for June in Sochi and, as our correspondent in Brussels, Margherita Sforza, "Europe and the United States will try to coordinate their respective positions on Monday, at the G7 Summitin the Hague ".
