Israel strikes back in Gaza

It is the largest incident since the Defensive Pillar Operation two years ago, a clash that lasted a week.

Of 70 handmade missiles, 41 fell on Israeli soil causing a slight injury.

Alongside David Cameron, Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the ' Radio ' is "respond in force to gunfire against Israel made by Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip" and promised that while "there is calm in the South (of Israel) will be quiet in Gaza. And that's an understatement, "assured the Israeli Prime Minister.

In claiming the attack, Islamic Jihad said it was a response to an Israeli raid that killed three militiamen of the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Jihad.

The escalating violence happens the day David Cameron arrived in Israel for his first official visit as British Prime Minister.
