Ukraine: East defies Kiev

This morning in Gorlovka pró-russos separatists, many of them armed, took over government buildings and demanded more autonomy from Kiev and closer to Moscow.

Similar actions of pro-Russian militias were recorded in Zhdanovska.

The biggest affront to the Kiev Government comes from the self-proclaimed Republic of Donetsk.

In Slaviansk, where he fears a Ukrainian forces military intervention, the Government buildings are still occupied by pró-russos activists.

The same situation occurs in several localities of the russófonas provinces, where, just a few kilometres from the border remain stationed thousands of Russian soldiers, according to NATO.
