Brazil promises more investment in education

Rio de Janeiro is back to stage a new demonstration against the costs of the event.

Hundreds of teachers dressed to the nines to say enough to call "political Carnival" and to ask for more and better education.

The Chamber of deputies of Brazil approved, however, a plan that provides for increased investment in the education sector in the next 10 years.

The increase will be gradual must represent 10 per cent of GDP in 2024, IE, about double the current investment.
