India: Explosion in pipeline makes 16 victims

The State-owned company responsible for the gas distribution says that the cause of the explosion is still unknown and put in motion a rescue operation. According to witnesses there was a disruption in the pipes followed by heavy fire.

It is likely that the number of victims will increase in the next few hours and authorities have already launched a thorough investigation to determine the reasons for this explosion.
