Nigeria: President visits victims of the bombing in Abuja

This Friday, the head of State visited the injured in a hospital in Abuja and the place where the explosion occurred and pointed out that "Nigeria entered in one of the darkest periods of its history", with the successive terrorist acts in the country, promising to fight terror until the Boko Haram belongs to the past.

The attack occurred on Wednesday, in a very busy commercial area of Abuja. The authorities suspect that the Islamist group Boko Haram, which have sown terror in Nigeria, is behind this Act.

The United Nations is very concerned about the escalation of violence in the country. The international community is looking in Nigeria and in the inability of the authorities vis-à-vis terrorist attacks since in April 200 young students have been kidnapped, continuing with unknown whereabouts.
