Israel: Continued air raids on the Gaza Strip

Three people died Saturday in the Tufah neighborhood in Eastern Gaza, during an Israeli air raid.

Today's attacks raised to 121 the number of Palestinians killed since the beginning of the offensive of Israel for five days.

The other two attacks carried out during the early hours caused five fatalities.

According to Ashraf al-Qudra, spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of health, an air strike hit an institution for handicapped causing two dead in Beit Lahiya, in northern Gaza, and another in the West of Gaza City killed three people.

At least 190 dwellings and buildings have already been destroyed in Gaza since the beginning of the Israeli military offensive "protective Margin" on Tuesday, with a balance of about 700 wounded, mostly civilians.

On Friday, the Office of the High Commissioner for human rights of the United Nations warned that Israel might be violating the laws of war due to bombing of dwellings in Gaza.

On the same day Kuwait requested the convening of an urgent meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers to discuss "the deteriorating situation" in the Gaza Strip.
