Israeli army moves to less exposed areas of Gaza

The Israeli army has repositioned itself in the Gaza Strip, leaving the East and closing the border. Only in the South, in Rafah, there were no troop movements.

A day after the Israeli Prime Minister's speech, the defence forces are reorganizing themselves in the most convenient, but guarantee to be in a position to fight to act in any circumstance.

"We're keeping our operational capacity to achieve the Hamas and carrying out our intentional activities against the tunnels that are still a threat. We hope to finish the actions against the tunnels soon and in fact this is an ongoing mission, "explained Lt. Col. Peter Lerner.

The Israeli army says it has destroyed more than 30 tunnels and access. And Prime Minister Netanyahu promised that the military actions will continue even after they have been destroyed all these infrastructures used by the Palestinians to attack Israel.
