World is concerned with the increasing number of refugees caused by the advance of the Islamic State

In Iraq and in Syria, with each passing day, there is a growing number of refugees as a result of the advance of the jihadists of the Islamic State.

Since mid-June, the World Food Programme (WFP) has provided assistance to more than 430 thousand people displaced because of the conflict.

The example of what is going on elsewhere in the refugee camp of Newroz in Kurdish town of Malikiya, in Syria, humanitarian organizations have no hands to measure:

"Have almost all blisters because they walked for a long time. Usually arrive much weakened. There are many cases of dehydration â€" as many young people as in the elderly â€" and severe dehydration. Others have fallen and therefore we have some cases of fractures, which are treated in the hospital, but we also have people with infected wounds that were caused by firearms, "reports a Red Crescent medical Kurdish.

In the Sinjar mountains remain between 20 to 30 thousand people surrounded by radical Islamists who are without water, without food, homeless and without possibility of escape, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

As the world mobilizes to support yazidi, the United Kingdom is distributing aid by air to this Kurdish minority and non-Muslim, threatened with death by the jihadists of the Islamic State.
