Iran: Rouhani defends internet access for the future

In a speech broadcast on television, Hassan Rouhani challenged the clerics to be more tolerant when it comes to the internet and new technologies for the future:

"we cannot close the gates of the world to future generations. In the days of today, who don't know how to use the internet, cannot be considered an expert or even a simple student. "
