Islamic State loses ground in Iraq

In Iraq, to halt the advance of the extremists in the Islamic State, enemies of other wars are now on the same side of the trench to support the Kurdish peshmerga and the Iraqi army.

Washington bombards radical positions, Tehran provides advice on the ground. Result: the Islamic State was forced to retreat and more heavy weaponry the way to combat the Caliphate.

"This is the front line of the war against terrorism. If we don't end up with this already, they will enter by the West (...) for England (...) through Europe (...) by the United States ", warns Bafle Talabani, founder of elite anti-terrorist group and son of Kurdish Iraqi President Jalal Talabani.

The front extends from Mosul the Amerli, passing for Erbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan. To the West, says the Islamic State.

To break the siege by jihadists the Amerli, which has lasted for two months, it was necessary to coordinated work between Washington, Tehran, Erbil and Baghdad. The conquest of this weekend deserved a trip to the city of Nuri al-Maliki, the outgoing Prime Minister of Iraq.
