Portugal: new Bank loses direction

In a statement, the team of Vítor Bento justifies the decision, with the changes in the nature of the project, "over the last two months, allegedly related to the intention of the Bank of Portugal to carry out the sale of the banking entity.

Benedict and the other two responsible had been appointed with the aim of saving the BES with private capital.

The Portuguese central bank should appoint later this weekend a new President for the new Bank.
