Belgium began air raid in Iraq

A Belgian F-16 fighter bombed for the first time this Sunday, the Islamic State group targets just west of Baghdad.

The information comes from Iraqi Ministry of Defense who also claims that another Dutch bomber hunt did in patrol missions Iraqi territory.

The weekend near Baghdad was of intense fighting. The army, helped by popular, freed the town of Duluiya from the hands of jihadists.

On the border between Turkey and Syria, the Group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (EIIL) won't give up the town of Kobani. After an attempted robbery on Saturday, Kurdish forces expect a new attack. The jihadists promise to pray in the mosques of the city on the Muslim festival of Eid al Adha, which is celebrated next Saturday.

At least 180 people in the region of Kobani fled to Turkey in recent days.

The extremists had other victories on Saturday in Northern and Western Iraq, with the conquest of the town of Kubaisa and the threat on the military base in Ain al Asad.
