Poroshenko said Ukraine is committed to peace but prepared for separatist offensive

Poroshenko equates "fixes" to the Minsk agreement to "isolate" military and economically the separatist zones. The head of State said that "there will be a significant strengthening in the checkpoints, to restrict the movements of those who pose a threat" to Kiev.

The central Government described as "farce" the Sunday elections in the East of the country. This Tuesday, took place the inauguration ceremonies of the "Presidents" of the two self-proclaimed Republics Popular of Donetsk and Lugansk.

As a consequence of these ballots, Kiev may also suspend the "special status" granted to breakaway regions or even come up with a plan for the military reconquest of the territory controlled by the rebels pró-russos.
