USA: Republicans can regain a majority in Congress

The polling stations opened at six o'clock in the morning, local time, in eight States in a ballot that could give the Republicans a majority in Congress.

If the prognosis if confirm the last two-year term of President Barack Obama at the White House, full of difficulty. The Democrats have 55 Senate seats today, and Republicans, 45. But Barack Obama's popularity is down. Only 41% of the population still believes in its performance.

The voters will have to define new members, senators and Governors. Control of the Senate is the greatest challenge. Republicans only need six more seats to achieve a majority in this wing and win so the entire Congress. Elections are held under the influence of a deep dissatisfaction of the electorate that many hopes had deposited in the Obama Government.
