Chlorine gas shakes "Masquerade" in Chicago

The authorities were forced to evacuate the building where was an annual meeting of "Teddies" humans, following a chlorine gas leak.

The police speak of an intentional act, after having discovered chlorine powder in a staircase next to the event.

One of the organizers of the meeting, Samuel Conway, says: "we were having fun to big and I don't know what's going on. They told us to leave the hotel without explaining why, but we're not worried because at least the disguises are very hot ".

The event gathers every year hundreds of fans of cartoon characters, dressed in the skin of their heroes.

Only one person remains hospitalized with burns in the Airways.
