A prayer for victims of the crash of the AirAsia

Several Muslim clerics were transported in an Indonesian Army helicopter to the place where authorities believe they have identified various parts of the appliance, to pray for the success of the operation to retrieve the bodies of the passengers and the wreckage of the plane.

The searches, which rely on the support of several countries, have been hampered by strong currents and bad weather. This Tuesday, several divers descended to the seabed, in a shallow area off the island of Borneo, hoping to get some advances.

So far, 37 bodies have been recovered. Rescue teams have identified what they believe to be five large pieces of the plane, but there's still no sign of black boxes.
