Charlie Hebdo: one of the brothers Kouachi "formally recognised" as aggressor

The elite forces of the anti-terrorist section of the Paris police try to close the siege to two brothers, Cherif Kouachi, suspects and Said the deadly attack against the headquarters of Charlie Hebdo.

After the two men had been recognized by the Manager of a gas station near the village of Villers-Cotterêts, northeast of Paris, an impressive device officer was sent to the area, also sobrevoada by helicopters. By nightfall, the two men were still on the run.

In a new press conference, Interior Minister said one of the brothers, Said Kouachi, has already been "formally recognised through a photo as one of the aggressors" of yesterday.

Bernard Cazeneuve also said that a total of nine people are currently being questioned by police about the case.

The Minister did point out that, at the moment, the data collected by the investigations do not provide "any element that may establish a link" between the attack against the headquarters of Charlie Hebdo and the shooting this morning in the South of Paris, which resulted in one police dead and a city employee seriously injured.
