Ukraine: remain irreconcilable Positions in Minsk

In the Palace of independence in Minsk, the Ukrainian President and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, negotiations started yesterday at nightfall, mediated by the French Head of State, Francois Hollande, and by German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Elsewhere in Minsk was also convened the so-called contact group, consisting of Russian and Ukrainian representatives of the OSCE, to which were joined sent Ukrainian separatists. Hope evoked earlier this morning fell to the Earth. According to the Tass Agency, quoted by AFP, the secessionists refused to sign an agreement to implement a ceasefire signed on September 5 in the Belarusian capital.
