Attack on Boston Marathon: Jury begins deliberations

The jury for the trial of the sole defendant in the shooting in the Boston Marathon, in 2013, begins deliberating.

Defense and prosecution over the allegations, this Monday. It is now up to 12 jurors decide the fate of the youngest of the Tsarnaev brothers, who risks the death penalty.

The defense claims that Dzhokhar, of 21 years, only accompanied his brother and that the whole attack was prepared and carried out by Tamerlan, dead in Manhunt launched by the authorities.

The prosecution claims that the young, an ethnic Chechen, is an extremist who "wanted to punish America" with the bomb attack.

On April 15, 2013, two explosions bled the end of the Boston Marathon.
