Presidency of Turkish Cypriots will decide the second round
The Turkish Cypriots should return to the polls on November 26 for the second round of the presidential. According to the provisional results of Sunday's elections, the nationalist Dervis Eroglu confirms the favoritism with almost 29% of the vote, but without a victory in the first round, with only two points clear of the moderate candidate Mustafa Akinci (26.87). The two men go back to face each other at the polls after an electoral journey with the lowest participation ever in the territory, whose independence is recognized only by Turkey.
