Stowaways: Renzi wants "intervention in the territories"

"We have to avoid that they break through intervention in the territories."

A minute of silence in the Italian Parliament by more than 800 migrants killed last Sunday in the Mediterranean. This ceremony preceded the intervention by the Chairman, Mateo Renzi, who summoned lawmakers to talk about illegal immigration.

According to the Italian coast guard, more than 11,000 immigrants have landed in the last six days in the Italian and Greek coasts, and hundreds of others continue to arrive.

Since the beginning of 2015, 1,600 people died in the Strait of Sicily. Faced with this disaster, politics is powerless.
