USA: curfew in Baltimore is working

In the United States, the Police Commissioner of Baltimore has ensured that the curfew applied to the city is up and running.

The curfew and the intense police presence emerged as a way to avoid a repetition of the violence experienced on Monday, after the funeral of young Freddie Gray, who died after being detained by police.

Groups of citizens urged who didn't respect the curfew to go home.

Security forces have launched projectiles of pepper spray against protesters who defied the curfew. Although largely have been respected, at least 10 people were detained.
