Fire in Syria clinic makes 25 dead

The fire happened at a clinic in Qamichli province of Hassaké, Syrian Kurdistan near the border with Turkey. Was caused by an exploding fuel tank and, at least, apparently is not related to the war that continues to devastate the country. The city is divided into two parts, one controlled by the Syrian Government and another by the Kurds.

In addition to the 25 dead, the fire, which left the clinic completely destroyed, made about 30 wounded.

At the time of the disaster, the place was full of children who received the vaccine against polio.
