Nine killed in a racist attack in South Carolina Church

A white man opened fire in a historic African-American Church in South Carolina, in the United States, during a Bible study meeting. Pastor Clement Pickney, is among the dead on Wednesday night, the Church usually has a Bible study meeting.

The killer, who fled the scene and has not yet been located, still hurt over a person who is hospitalized.

The Church in question is the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, the oldest African Methodist Episcopal communion around the South of the United States. It was founded in 1816 and its founders have been involved in the fight for the end of slavery.
