Pakistan: 8 of 10 accused of released attack against Malala Yousafzai

In April, responsible military had said that the 10 men had been sentenced to 25 years in prison by an antiterrorist Court in Mingora, in the Swat Valley, a region in the North of the country where the 17-year old young man was shot in the head, the October 9, 2012. But the police Chief of Swat came to say now that only two were sentenced and the other eight were released for lack of evidence. The process had elapsed behind closed doors until the announcement of the verdict.

The individuals responsible for the attack against Islamist rebel group belonging to the Malala Shura, with links to the Pakistani Taliban.
