Turkey: Maintains military campaign against the PKK

The Turkey continues to bomb positions of Kurdish rebels in northern Iraq and Syria.

The Government expected in Parliament a common position against terrorism of different parties that failed.

Western allies said they recognize Turkey's right to self-defense, but asked not to destroy peace efforts with the Kurdish community.

Ahmet Davutoglu, Turkey's Prime Minister stated:

"When the future of the country and democracy is concerned, those who do not exhibit a clear attitude do not have any right to be informed about the terror".

The Ankara Government formally approved a deal with the United States that includes the opening of air bases to the coalition against the militants of the auto denomidado Islamic State.
