Mediterranean, increasingly a migrant cemetery

The exodus of migrants towards Europe does not stop cause victims.

A boat with 400 people sank Thursday off the coast of Libya.

200 people eventually die when the boat overturned after sailing from the town of Zuwara.

According to local authorities, the migrants aboard came from Syria, Pakistan, Morocco, Bangladesh and Sub-saharan Africa.

On Wednesday, the Swedish Navy was on a mission of help to another migrant vessel that sank off the Italian coast.

The operation recorded 51 deaths and 400 rescue survivors. Ten people were arrested for human trafficking and handed over to Italian authorities.
