Taiwan devastated by Typhoon Soudelor

The strong winds and intense rains caused the downfall of numerous trees and traffic lights and downed electricity stations, leaving at least 700 thousand homes without electricity.

Thousands of people were removed from the House, being currently 1,300 in 43 shelters spread across the island.

Meteorologists predict that Typhoon lose strength during the weekend and become tropical storm, though the island remain on alert.

The Soudelor moves forward toward the West and it is estimated that reaches the coast of China this Saturday, so it was declared Orange alert, the second highest on a scale of four.
