The UNITED STATES and Egypt is renewing "strategic partnership"

Since the Egyptian revolt of 2011 that relations between Washington and Cairo have not been the best.

During the morning, Kerry met with President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi and co-chaired, with its Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shukri, the "strategic dialogue", whose latest edition dates back to 2009.

"The dialogue has contributed to review bilateral relations differ, through new ideas that define the relationship between the two countries in the future, especially in military and security cooperation," said the Foreign Minister of Egypt.

John Kerry has confirmed the commitment and cooperation of the United States in the fight against terrorism.

"We talked very honest about the challenges of the fight against terrorism, even when you're in a comprehensive political process that can give citizens the opportunity to build their own future. We agreed that we should explore the opportunities to strengthen our relationship in terms of security, "said the head of American diplomacy.

At the end of July the United States handed over to Egypt eight F-16 combat aircraft and the delivery of four more appliances by the end of the year.
