Devastation as a result of torrential rains in Japan

Tokyo and, mostly, the regions located north of the Japanese capital have been put on alert.

In some places the rainfall has reached twice the average for the entire month of September.

Weather authorities say is an unprecedented situation, the Government wants to prevent other disasters, such as the Japanese Prime Minister:

"There are regions where the rainfall will be even higher. The Government will work with priority the security of people and will do their best to avoid future disasters. "

So far talks only of a missing woman, about 60 years. Your home has been invaded by the waters. Her husband was rescued.

Hundreds of thousands of people had been alerted to the situation and had been asked to abandon their homes.
