According to the Syrian Observatory for human rights more than a dozen roquetes have been launched against the market located in territory controlled by rebels in the East of Damascus.

Surrounded for about two years by Syrian forces, the city has been one of the most troubled by bombings since the beginning of the war and notes, according to the organization headquartered in London, the highest number of fatalities.
