Mali: armed attack against UN forces based in Kidal

Armed attack, allegedly with mortars, against the base of the blue helmets of the UN (MINUSMA) in the town of Kidal in the North of Mali. The information is advanced by sources at the base and journalists from Reuters.

Do not know the identity of the attackers.

MINUSMA spokesman, Oliver Salgado, evokes an undetermined number of victims.

The UN Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), backed by French troops and German in the future, try to implement the peace agreement.

The North of Mali is occupied by Islamist groups.

On day 20 November, an attack on a hotel of Bamako made 20 dead. It was claimed by two groups "jihadists".
