Paris: Two dead terrorists and 7 held in Saint-Denis

A gunfight broke out this morning in Saint-Denis, North of Paris, during a police operation linked to the investigation of the attacks of Friday.

According to the French media, several police officers have been injured during the clashes with two to three men holed up in an apartment. According to the international news agencies two suspects died: a man, shot by police and a suicide bomber â€" blew up.

The same sources indicate that the goal of the operation would be the alleged mastermind of the attacks, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, although not yet confirmed their presence at the scene.

The operation of the anti-terrorist unit of the French police would have started at 4:30 locations, marked by several shootings.

The first information about the RAID indicated that the ninth suspect of the attacks would be the target of the police.

The ninth suspect, who had not yet been identified, would have been detected by surveillance cameras on the day of the attacks, when shot at passers-by present in various cafes and terraces in the Centre of Paris.
