Yemen: HEY claims attempt on Governor of Aden

An explosive device was triggered after the car down a road of Saad Jaafar second city in the country, currently in the hands of the Saudi military coalition that supports President Hadi.

The Group Islamic State, in open war against Al-Qaeda in Yemeni territory, claimed responsibility for the action.

At least seven people died in the explosion, including the Governor-a close to President Hadi, recently returned from exile â€" and six bodyguards.

Hours later, a group of armed men vitimava a police officer, West of Aden.

The Islamic State group had already claimed two other attacks in the city, against the seat of the interim Government and the coalition military Arabia, in October and November.
