Humanitarian aid arrives in besieged cities by Syrian forces

Madaya residents, Foua and Kefraya will have the support of the World Food Programme (WFP). The first city to be bailed out was Madaya, near the border with Lebanon which is surrounded by troops loyal to the Syrian President, Bashar Assad since the beginning of July.

In the following weeks, more trains will reach the besieged areas in Syria with other materials, according to World Food Programme.
