North Korea Announces test "successful" nuclear bomb

North Korea announced having conducted the first "successful" test of the hydrogen bomb, this Wednesday.

The announcement was broadcast by State television in Pyongyang.

The nuclear experience caused an earthquake, measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was Punggye-ri, a site used by North Korea for nuclear tests.

The device has a superior strength to those used in the three previous tests in 2006, 2009 and 2013.
