Police suspect a group of Syrians and Iraqis in failed attacks of Munich

The German police of Germany provided some information about the suspects in connection with the failed bombings of Munich on 31 December.

According to the authorities, would be a set of Syrian citizens or Iraqis, although didn't know until now if these would meet or not in German territory after the failure of the atentatos.

"We received a few names. We don't know if they're in Munich or even in Germany, "said the Chief of police of Munich, Hubertus Andrae.

Andrae also said that authorities had received "very specific data about a group of five to seven people" and a jihadist attack possible taking place in the city of Munich on the night of new year's Eve.

There is the danger of an attack in the area of munich, please keep away from crowds, avoid the central station and the rail station pasing.

"The information was transmitted by federal authorities and secret services of a foreign country to Munich police," concluded Hubertus Andrae.

The suspects could be next of the self-proclaimed Islamic State (EI) or Daesh, by its acronym in Arabic language.

Munich, capital of Bavaria, continued Friday to stand in until the end of the morning, after two railway stations (Zentral and Pasing, West) have been closed by police a few hours after midnight of December 31 and the celebrations of the new year. The next surveillance rail stations was subsequently reduced by early afternoon.
