George Miller will preside over the jury of 69. Cannes Film Festival

The filmmaker, of 70 years, whose film "Mad Max: Fury Road", with Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy, had European debut honors at Cannes last year, out of competition at the festival. The Australian happens to Americans Joel and Ethan Coen in the Presidency of the jury.

George Miller will assign the Palme d'Or, the most important Prize of the Cannes Awards, the event that will take place between 11 and 22 May.
