Brazil: Lula accused of money laundering by not declaring luxury triplex

The Public Ministry of São Paulo Accuses Lula of not having declared a luxury apartment in guaruja, on the coast of the State of São Paulo in Brazil.

According to the indictment, the triplex 297 m2 would have been offered to the former head of State by the construction company OAS, investigated the case car wash.

The company is suspected of having paid commissions and political parties in Exchange for contracts in State oil company Petrobras.

Lula da Silva already rejected the allegations, accusing the Prosecutor of São Paulo of partiality.

The former President's defense appealed jao Supreme Court to to clarify the jurisdiction of the case, conducted simultaneously by the attorneys of Paraná and São Paulo.
