Partial truce does not stop bombs in Aleppo

This Saturday is in effect an agreement promoted by the United States and Russia to cease hostilities in a part of Syria, but that will not affect the intense bombing campaign in the country's second largest city, Aleppo.

The guns will be silent for 24 hours in the rebel bastion of Eastern Ghuta East of Damascus, and for three days in the region of Latakia, controlled by the regime, in a final effort to save the truce imposed on February 27 and since then regularly disrespected.

A completely non-existent cease-fire for the population of Aleppo, where bombings last week killed 230 civilians, including one of the last pediatricians working in the region, Mohammad Wassim Maaz, killed in Wednesday's attack against the Al-Quds hospital.
