White House on alert because of suspicious object

The alarm of the official residence of the President of the United States sounded after a woman alleged to have shot an object inside the gardens of the House. The case happened after Barack Obama visited Arlington Cemetery (twit below) and made the usual Memorial Day speech, a tribute to the men and women who gave their lives for the u.s. armed forces and which is celebrated annually on the last Monday of May.

With Obama and journalists accredited to work in the White House retained inside the White House for security reasons, the woman was handcuffed and arrested. The suspicious object will be parsed after teams of firefighters and hazardous materials experts were called to the scene.
