Hundreds of refugees blocked in Costa Rica

Most live in makeshift camps waiting for an opportunity to move into the United States.

In an attempt to control the flow of migrants, the Nicaragua closed the border with Costa Rica to desperation of fleeing violence and famine.

"We're in a lot of pain. We arrived to Costa Rica as immigrants, but we are not treated as such. We don't have a place to live or to sleep. We are in a State of calamity "refers to a refugee.

The authorities recognize that still have no solutions to the problem.
