Suicide bombings strike Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Arabia was the target of three suicide attacks. The last one occurred near the Prophet's Mosque in the city of Medina, one of the holiest places in Islam. According to the authorities at least two security officers died.

Hours earlier, a suicide bomber did blow near a Shiite mosque in the city of Qatif, in the East of the country. The attack caused the death of civilians.

During the morning, another bombing. This time, in Jeddah in the West of the country, near a mosque located near the United States Consulate. It is unknown whether this would be the target of the attackers. In addition to the suicide bomber no casualties.

The attacks have not be en claimed.
