Syria: UN Inspectors target shooting in Damascus

The column followed the 20 UN inspectors that are in Syria to investigate the use of chemical weapons was hit the shot by snipers. The information was confirmed by a spokesman of the United Nations. Martin Nesirky goes on to explain that the first vehicle of the Group has been hit continuously by "unidentified snipers".

No one was injured in this attack. The column of five UN cars was being escorted by Syrian security services. The inspectors were taken to a safe space until they replaced vehicles, having followed later to the place of investigation, in Eastern Ghouta, on the outskirts of Damascus.

The Syrian regime has already guaranteed that the shots were fired by the rebels.

The UN team met with victims of the Wednesday attack, allegedly carried out with sarin gas.

Opposition to the Assad regime ensures that this was an attack using chemical weapons of the army of the President ... that caused at least 1300 dead.

The international community expects the conclusions of this inspection to decide whether advances or not with a military action in Syria.
