Barack Obama visit to Sweden

Barack Obama began today a two-day visit to Sweden. In this first official visit to the country, the President is received by Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, at the seat of the Government.

Tonight Barack Obama participates in a dinner with the heads of Government of the five Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway).

During the meeting will be addressed topics such as the current economic situation and global politics and trade relations between the United States and the European Union.

In central Stockholm, a small group of protesters from Amnesty International organization called for the closure of Guantanamo.

On Thursday, Barack Obama will be received by the King of Sweden, Charles Gustavus, and Queen Silvia.

The u.s. President follows after to St. Petersburg in Russia to take part in the G20 Summit.
