Beslan remembers victims of the kidnapping of local school

The Russian town of Beslan, in North Ossetia, recalled the ninth anniversary of the death of more than 300 people during the military operation to end the kidnapping of a local school for a terrorist group. Local authorities have fulfilled three days of mourning under heavy security measures. In 2004, the Chechen command had held hostages more than 1200 people for three days. Most of the victims died during the Russian special forces assault.
