Alice Munro WINS Nobel Prize in Literature

Alice Ann Munro wins the Nobel Prize for literature 2013. The announcement was made this morning by the Secretary of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Sweden.The 82-year-old Canadian is considered one of the leading contemporary writers in the English language.In Portugal are published six works: "Love Life", "the progress of love", "too much Happiness", "the view from Castle Rock", "the love of a beautiful woman" and "Leaks" by the seal of the Water Clock.Munro admitted that his work had the influence of major writers of the influence on his work of great writers such as Katherine Anne Porter, Flannery O'Connor, Carson McCullers and Eudora Welty.
