Shooting in Washington

New shooting in Washington, this time near the u.s. Capitol.

According to the latest information at least one person died and another was injured.

It all started after a car tried to cross the security barrier near the White House, without success. The pursuit of the vehicle will only be done in the vicinity of the Capitol.

A woman, by all indications, the driver of the vehicle have been killed by security forces. In the car were not found weapons.

Some Senators say they have heard several shots.

For safety, the Capitol and surrounding buildings were temporarily closed down and people advised to remain at home.

Part of Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House, too, was closed.

The u.s. President, Barack Obama, I became aware of what happened, but has not yet ruled.

This is the second shooting in Washington in less than three weeks.
